Óscar Rubio Fauria (born 14 May 1984) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Deportivo Alavés. On the right side of the field, he can operate as a defender or a midfielder.
Born in Lleida, Catalonia, Rubio spent most of his career in his native region, representing UE Tàrrega, UE Lleida, Gimnàstic de Tarragona and Elche CF.
In the 2010 summer, aged 26, he moved abroad and joined FC Dinamo Bucureşti in Liga I, being released at the end of the season by the Romanian team, and returining to his country with Deportivo Alavés (third division).
Rubio is the son of former Lleida footballer and manager Miguel Ángel Rubio, who also played with the club in La Liga.
